Entre 1973 e 1992 cursa pintura em ateliê particular, desenho no Atelier Livre da Prefeitura de Porto Alegre e Oficinas com Karin Lambrecht, Heloisa Schneiders da Silva e Michael Chapmann no Instituto Goethe, em Porto Alegre. 
                        Participa de Festivais como:  Festival de Inverno da UFMG em Minas Gerais, sob orientaçāo de Joāo Grijó; 
                        Festival de Verāo da UFES no Espírito Santo, cursa oficina com orientaçāo de José Resende. 
                        Em Porto Alegre cursa Escultura com Gaudêncio Fidelis, Escultura com Carlos Fajardo e  “Apropriaçāo do Espaço”, com Ana Tavares.
                        Em 1993 gradua-se em pintura pelo Instituto de Artes da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande Sul, em Porto Alegre e, em 2001, conclui o Mestrado em Poéticas Visuais na mesma instituiçāo.
                        De 1993 a 2015 foi professor de Escultura na UFRGS, pintura e desenho e escultura na UNIJUÍ e desenho e escultura na UDESC, mantendo sua produçāo artística e participando de exposições. 
                        No período de 2006 a 2016 compõe o grupo 3X4, com os artistas Helena D’Ávila, Laura Fróes e Nelson Wilbert no Projeto 3X4 Vis(i)ta a ateliês de artistas. 

                        Das mostras individuais destacam-se …diante/através… no Espaço Cultural ESPM Sul em 2015; Bordas, Galeria Augusto Meyer em 2012; Refletores Aturdidos, Galeria Gestual em 2010; ZigZag, Pinacoteca Barão de Sant'Angelo em 2002, em Porto Alegre.

                        Em sua produçāo recentente ocupa-se com os fenômenos como reflexo, transparência em suas múltiplas aparições: através das lâminas de acrílico coloridas transparentes e sobrepostas; no uso de tubos  metálicos; em obras sobre / com papel, fundindo o uso da palavra com o reflexo a transparência e a cor.

                      Between 1973 and 1992 he studied painting in a private studio, drawing at the Atelier Livre of Porto Alegre City Hall and workshops with Karin Lambrecht, Heloisa Schneiders da Silva and Michael Chapmann at the Goethe Institute, in Porto Alegre.
                      Participates in Festivals such as the UFMG Winter Festival in Minas Gerais, under the guidance of Joāo Grijó. At the UFES Summer Festival in Espírito Santo, he attended a workshop under the guidance of José Resende. In Porto Alegre he studies Sculpture with Gaudêncio Fidelis, Sculpture with Carlos Fajardo and “Apropriaçāo do Espaço”, with Ana Tavares. In 1993 he graduated in painting from the Institute of Arts of the Federal University of Rio Grande Sul, in Porto Alegre and, in 2001, completed his Master's degree in Visual Poetics at the same institution.
                       From 1993 to 2015 he was a professor of Sculpture at UFRGS, painting and drawing and sculpture at UNIJUÍ and drawing and sculpture at UDESC, maintaining his artistic production and participating in exhibitions.
                       From 2006 to 2016, he formed the 3X4 group, with artists Helena D’Ávila, Laura Fróes and Nelson Wilbert in the 3x4 group visits artists' studios.
